Halloween Livestream, Co3
In each newsletter, we share insights from the Ape Unit team.
In the first section titled WORK STORIES, we want to share some insights from our work and our experiences on the journey. In FIVE TREASURES FROM THE APE UNIT NETWORK, we like to share what's going on in our minds. Have fun and leave a comment!
WORK STORIES
We have some exciting things to share — a virtual rave/product demo and an introduction to another ongoing project!
1 — Eventivize x Massv Halloween Weekend
Massv Halloween began in 1999 as a small rave in Maracaibo, Venezuela. During the following 11 consecutive years, it became the most important underground music event in the city. This year TeKno OldSchoolers and CTM Festival are honoring this event by hosting a unique live stream weekend — Massv Halloween 2020 — where we've invited both veteran and new artists to MASSV. We are using this weekend event to test our new Eventivize App — we would love for you to join us in the app's first public use — while listening to good music.
On Friday, October 30th, CTM Festival will host the first showcase in collaboration with Eventivize. It will include a short introduction where the function and vision behind Eventivize will be explained.
On Saturday, October 31st, a remote live stream will take place with Venezuelan and International DJs.
Watch the streams here! We want to see you there!
If you want to follow our progress with Eventivize, join our Telegram News group! It's a one-way news channel that will keep you up to date on everything new with us.
2 — Co3 Project: an exercise in futurism
What will the future look like? How will Blockchain and Augmented Reality reshape our lives and the economy? These are questions that we try to answer with the Co3 Project.
Please read all about it in our latest blog post!
The European Union's Horizon 2020 call invited researchers to experiment with real user groups simulating the forthcoming technological environment. Our Co3 Project is funded by a European Union Horizon 2020 grant to assess disruptive technologies' impact on public administrations. We took on the challenge of this exercise in futurism, predicting the convergence of Augmented Reality and Blockchain; spatial computing and the token economy.
